Despite the overwhelming presence of Agricultural societies in the most recent millenium, paleolithic hunter-gatherer nomadic peoples still persist to this day. Each of these paleolithic societies in Australia, Siberia, the arctic coastlands, and parts of Africa and the Americas have remained independent of, but not without some influence from their Agricultural counterparts.
